The Order of the Engineer inducted over 170 new members on November 17, 2022.

The Order of the Engineer inducted over 170 new members on November 17, 2022.   These new members are seniors from every department in the School of Engineering, including 36 from Civil and Environmental Engineering.  The Order of the Engineer was initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession. Each new member received a ring to remind them to make ethical decisions throughout their engineering careers and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying them as an engineer.

Pictured is CEE Department Head, Chris Letchford; RPI Alumna and member of the Board of Governors of the Order of the Engineer, Sarah Straub Jaske; and Julia Kramer, Chi Epsilon President.  Sarah was instrumental in beginning the Order of the Engineer at RPI.
